Ingredients:
1 pound ground chicken
2 cups mashed potatoes
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 cup green peas
2-3 green chilies, finely cleaved (change by your zest inclination)
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
Bread crumbs for coating
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
Process:
Cook the Ground Chicken:
- In a skillet, cook the ground chicken with ginger-garlic glue, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red stew powder. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink and the moisture evaporates.
Prepare the Filling:
- In a separate pan, heat a little oil and add chopped onions. Sauté until they become translucent.
- Add green peas and chopped green chilies. Cook until the peas are tender.
- Combine the cooked ground chicken with this mixture.
- Add garam masala and salt to taste. Stir well.
- Mix in mashed potatoes and fresh coriander leaves. This creates a flavorful and well-seasoned filling.
Shape the Cutlets:
- Take a portion of the chicken and potato mixture and shape it into flat, round cutlets. You can make them as large or little as you like.
- Coat with Egg and Bread Crumbs:
- Plunge every cutlet into the beaten eggs, guaranteeing it's very much covered.
- Roll the cutlet in bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs.
Fry the Cutlets:
- Heat oil in a pan for frying. When hot, add the cutlets and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Place the fried cutlets on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Serve:
- Indian Chicken Cutlets are best served hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
Indian Chicken Cutlets are a delicious combination of spiced ground chicken and mashed potatoes, creating a delightful crispy snack or appetizer with a burst of Indian flavors. Enjoy!
